18 More bodies have been found today on Sunday 23, April 2023, in kilifi county at Shakahola village following pastor Paul Mackenzie cult. The total number of bodies found add up to 39 by today.
As the police go on with the exhumation of bodies in the forest at Shakahola village while their leader of all this cult drama is in police custody.
While police were patrolling in the forest they found a woman starving and was in bad condition, when the police try to rescue her she refused to be rescued and instead wants to starve to death In order to meet Jesu.
Interior cabinet Secretary professor Kithure kindiki as issued a report today and said he will be visiting the scene of crime on Tuesday . He had already talked to Coast Regional Commissioner to sent enough police officer to Shakahola village to guard the village and help in exhumation of the bodies.
Pauli Makenzie was denied to be realesed on bond by malindi high court after arrested on 15 April, 2023. Paul Mackenzie while in police custody has refused even to take a glass of water claiming to be on fasting and prayer.
Resident from the area has urged the government to help then in stopping this action and to chase Paul Mackenzie out of the area.
