Mukami kimathi, wife to the late freedom fighter Field Marshal Dedan Kimathi is dead at 96 years old.
His daughter, Evelyn Kimathi wangui today on Friday, 5 May, 2023, broke the news to the public about the dismissed of her mother. Evelyn said her mother passed away on Thursday night .
Mukami kimathi passed way in Nairobi while receiving treatment after developing a lung problem which leads to breathing problem .
Mukami kimathi are among the mau mau freedom fighter who were detained at Kamiti Maximum prison during the struggle for independence.
