Dishen Angoya Arrested – 19th June 2026 – Nairobi Kenya
Reports emerging on Tuesday indicate that the Officer Commanding Central Police Station (OCS) has been arrested, Chief Inspector Dishen Angoya, has been arrested and detained at Lang’ata Police Station.
According to preliminary reports, the senior police officer is accused of authorizing the release of 64 suspects who had been arrested during the recent fuel price protests witnessed in different parts of the country.
The suspects were reportedly facing public order-related offences following demonstrations sparked by rising fuel prices and the increasing cost of living in Kenya.
