Tickets for the Bayern Munich vs Ajax match go on sale today, Thursday 5 November at 6:00pm. The match is a historic friendly that will officially open the new Raila Odinga International Stadium at Talanta Sports City along Ngong Road in Nairobi. It will be played on Tuesday, 5 January 2027, with the stadium gates opening at 11:00am and kick-off scheduled for 8:15pm.
Tickets will be sold exclusively online through the official website, http://www.talantasportscity.com. Fans will need to visit the site, select the Bayern Munich vs Ajax event, choose their seating category, and then complete payment using M-Pesa or a bank card. Once payment is confirmed, the ticket will be delivered via SMS and email and will also be available under the My Tickets section on the platform. Prices will start from Ksh 2,500, with the full list of seating categories and prices displayed when sales open.
Fans are warned to be careful about fake tickets that are already circulating online. A poster claiming prices of Ksh 10,000 for regular seats, Ksh 22,000 for business, Ksh 35,000 for VIP and Ksh 80,000 for VVIP is fake, according to the Sports Principal Secretary. The organisers have confirmed that there will be no physical ticket sales at the stadium or anywhere else, and tickets are non-refundable unless the match itself is cancelled.
