Education cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu today on Friday, 20, 2023, released KCSE results for 2022 candidates at mtihani house in Nairobi.
According to analysis results boys have performed well than girls in 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). Where by 271 girls scored an A plain while 875 boys scored the same grade of an A plain.
Education Cs Ezekiel Machogu said their was a great improvement in performanced in 2022 compared to 2021. In 2022 result 1,146 scored an A plain while 30,822 scored an E that’s is an improvement compared to 2021 where by 1138 scored A plain while 46151 candidates scored an E.
Cabinet Secretary for education Ezekiel Machogu speaking in mtihani house said, parents, teachers and students will access their KCSE results through Kenyan National Examination Council ( KNEC) portal and via sms. Through sms will be charged only ksh 25 to all network while through Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) portal you will required to be on internet connection.
To receive results through KNEC portal, access the Kenya National Examination Council website then click on the year you sat for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exam. Then insert the index number of the student, then click submit.
After submitting all the details, results of the student will be displayed on the screen.
To receive KCSE results via sms you just need to send you details i.e your index number to 20076 and it will charge you ksh 25 only . After send your details you will receive your KCSE results immediately to your phone.
