The Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a five-day weather forecast warning Kenyans to prepare for heavy rainfall in several parts of the country.
According to the weather mans final advisory, at least five regions are expected to experience intense rains over the next few days. The heavy rainfall will be accompanied by strong winds and possible thunderstorms.

- Central Kenya
- Nairobi Metripolitan
- Western Kenya
- Rift Valley
- Lake Victoria Basin
The Kenya Met Forecast warned that the rains could lead to flash floods, poor visibility on roads and disruption of transport and business activities.
