The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has placed a break of operation of over 100 matatu saccos for non-compliance with the law.
The 121 saccos list has been operational in different routes in Kenya. Some of the PSV operators that have been suspended include:
2K-NN Savings and Credit Co-Operative Society Limited/Ngorika Line Travelers Company Limited, 2MK Modern Co. Limited, 2ML Sacco Society Limited, and 2TS Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited Among others.
“Members of the public are hereby advised not to board the vehicles belonging to the suspended sacco/companies,” the statement reads
