The 21 years old attended Unity Primary School. His talent and passion for football earned him a place in Kakamega High School from 2019 to 2021 for his Form 1 to Form 3 studies, before being porched by Dagoretti High School where he did his K.S.C.E Exams in 2022.
Football career
Ogam’s football journey began in Unity Primary School. This lead him to Kakamega High School from 2019 to 2021 before completing form 4 at Dagoretti High School in 2022.
During his amature years, Ogam trained with local clubs like Galaxy FC, Sunrise FC, and UEFA Despanol. He represented Mysa Kenya at the Norway Cup in 2017 showcasing his talent at international stages. He also represnted Yisca’s team in a tournament held in Italy in 2018.
Ogam’s professional journey kicked off with Rainbow FC. He later had a short stint with Dubai based Elite Falcons.
Back in the country, Ogam signed with Tusker FC as an Attacking Midfielder,
In his debut FKFPL season with Tusker FC, Ogam was nothing short of sensational. As of December 2024, he was leading the league’s scoring charts with 13 goals in 14 matches, including a memorable hat-trick against Murang’a Seal.
Ogam represented Kenya in the 2020 CECAFA U17 tournament and was part of the U20 squad for the Four Nations Tournament in 2024. He also featured in the CHAN qualifiers and the Mapinduzi Cup, where he experienced the highs and lows of international football. During the CHAN 2024 Pamoja Tournament co-hosted by Kenya Uganda and Tanzania, Ryan Wesley Ogam lit the stage and impressing international scout. He has since sealed a dream move to Austria with Wolfberger AC
