Monday night was a sad day for people in Kambi Muhindi area in Gilgil, Nakuru county after seven people were killed by the flood.
The chief administrator of the area report that the people who were killed by the flood include three woman and four children.
Many houses were swept away by the flood and other important properties were also destroyed by the flood. Many people were left homeless and are requesting for help from the government.
Three bodies were retrieved from the flood water while the police still going on on search of other bodies of the deceased.
Since the rain season started this is the second case of flood destroying properties, and life of people after we had another case in kangemi where a five years old child was killed by the flood.
Kenyans are requesting the government to cheap in by putting measures that will prevent flood in some key areas during rain season.
