President William Ruto did not attend former Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha burial service in siaya.

Earlier a Statement by his press secretary Emmanuel Talaam announced to the public that the President will be in Naivasha , where will be chairing Governor’s meeting and national government executive. He was expecting to close a two day seminar today on Saturday , 11 February, 2023.

Since Magoha died on 24th January 2023 at Nairobi hospital, the president did manage to visit the family of the former Cs lavington home to condole with the family like the way other leaders did.

The president also did not attend his memorial service at consolata shrine in Westland on Thursday , 9th, February, 2023.

Many of Kenyans expected the president willl attend the burial service in Siaya because he missed most of the key function.

Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua also did not attend the burial service in Siaya, however the deputy president managed to visit the family at the late Prof George Magoha’s home and condole with them.

The deputy president Rigathi Gachagua while addressing the press at the late Magoha’s home , he said the government had granted the full support they had requested . The family had asked the government to help them in airlifting the body of the late from Nairobi to Siaya.

Despite president William Ruto missing the Prof George Magoha burial service, former president Uhuru Kenyatta and Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party leader Raila Odinga were leading mourners in giving their former Cs benefiting send off .
