The body of a former Chelsea and Ghana international footballer Atsu Christian has been found death after a huge earthquake in Turkey , local media in Turkey reported today on Saturday 18th, February 2023.
Atsu Christian 31 years Old, was caught up on a higher magnitude during the earthquake that rocked Turkey and Syria early February killing more than 43,000 people in both Turkey and Syria.
Later a day after the earthquake occurred there were report that Atsu Christian had been rescued and he is alife but later on the news turn out to be false.
On Saturday 18th February in Turkey, Murat Uzunmehmet told DHA news agency that Atsu Christian body had been found death under the rubble in the Turkish southern province of Hatay.
” we have reached his lifeless body . His belongings are still being removed . His phone was also found,” Murat told DHA.
Atsu Christian played ni England premier league for four seasons in Chelsea and transfered to Newcastle . He later signed another contract with Hatayspor in Turkish super lig.
