Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga has organised a prayer day which will be held in Nairobi Javenjee Garden next week and the aim of the prayer is to pray for empowerment of the Azimio coalition , and for Independent Electrol and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to have transparency in Electrol body, because according to Raila he won the 2022 presidential election against president William Ruto but election was rigged in favour of president William Ruto .
Raila planned this just immediately after president William Ruto and the Kenya kwanza administration had a successful prayer rally in Nyayo stadium on 14th February Valentine’s day , praying for rain and the economy of the country .
Azimio leaders had earlier planned to have their service at anniversary towers where the offices of the Independent Electrol and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is located but they later change the venue to Jevanjee Garden.
” This nation needs prayer . We are going to convene a prayer meeting at Jevanjee,” Raila Odinga told the press.
Raila Odinga planned the prayer after moving country wide protesting against president William Ruto. According to Raila president William Ruto did not won presidential election. Raila had been in various places together with his team i.e machakos, Nairobi, Kisii, Kakamega and this weekend are planning their rally in Kisumu.
