Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New Life Church and prayer centre has been released on Sh3 million bond or sh1.5 million cash bail by the Shanzu principal magistrate Joe Omido.
The man of God had early spend 7 days in police custody as the police continue with their investigation over mass killing and indoctrination of the worshippers.
Earlier the court had order pastor Ezekiel Odero to be detained in police custody for 30 days, however Shanzu principal magistrate Joe Omido threw out the application to continue holding him for 30 days.
Dastan Omari and Cliff Ombeta who are pastor Ezekiel’s lawyer had promised to look for an alternative way to have a favourable bail term for their client who had already spent 7 days in police custody.
