Celebrated model and LGBTQ activist Edwin chiloba had been murdered and his eyes gouged out, with preliminary police report indicating that he died from strangulation.
Jackton Odhiambo , the main suspect over the fashionista Edwin Chiloba’s death as come out clear and confess to police for killing the model over cheating allegations on him.
According to Langas OCPD John Odhiambo, Jackton Odhiambo excuted the murder with the help of his two other friends who are still at large and the police are still looking for them.
The suspect Jackton Odhiambo told the police he murdered Edwin Chiloba as a revenge for betraying him through cheating.
Jackton Odhiambo who had been staying with the deceased for a period of one year now in Eldoret was arrested on Friday as the main suspect in the murder as the police still ongoing with more and detailed investigation .
Chiloba’s caretaker Alex Nyamwea said that Jackton Odhiambo called him using Chiloba’s phone on January 4, informing him the he waa vacating the house they lived in, and true to his words Odhiambo vacated the house with immediate effect .
The police are invastigating a possible love triangle after the main suspect Jackton Odhiambo confessed that he was driven to commit the murder after out that Chiloba had another partiner.
Chiloba’s body was discovered in a metallic box on kipenyo – katinga road in Uasin Gishu county by bodaboda riders, who saw unmarked vehicle dumping the box on the side of the road.
Police are also looking for the vehicle used to ferry the body and dumped.
