Comedian Eric Omondi as been trending on all social media platform after his video went viral accompanied by other content creators, while addressing the president together with his deputy over the agenda of introducing 15% tax for content creators earnings in their various social media platform.
Eric Omondi lamented to president William Ruto not to try to push that agenda because the youth have made their own effort to create their own employment through social media platforms after the government failed to offer them jobs after they promised them during their campaigns.
Eric Omondi have been arrested several time when demonstrating in Nairobi CBD over high cost of living for Kenyans and was also arrested he wanted to enter Parliament to present people’s grievances over the same matter. This time round he said he is also tired of being arrested but he will stand firm protect content creators because he is one of them.
Eric Omondi told president William Ruto if he is a real hustler has he used to say in his campaign he should be helping bodaboda and Mama mboga from poverty level instead of overtaxing them as they are even going against food because of high cost of living.
