Pastor Ruth Matete open up on social media on what she as been going through after her beloved husband died just four months after their wedding and leaving her two months pregnant.

Some of the things that Ruth Matete open up , she said it as not been easy for her to heal and forget about the incidence. She Open up that people turned against her and said she is the one who killed her own husband something that was so painful for her.

“Losing someone you deeply love is not something you heal from overnight. Especially when that person is your spouse😭
With the busy lifestyle we have these days, it can get so busy that you forget to heal or assume you have healed when in essence, you’re just too busy to examine your emotional state. Today, I take time to examine Ruth Matete the young lady who was so hurt and accused of killing her husband a few years ago. The young widow who was 2 months pregnant when her husband died. The young widow who had to go through the pregnancy journey while she mourned her new husband of four months. 😭

The young lady who cried days and nights not knowing exactly why she was crying because her life changed in a twinkling of an eye. Is she ok? Has she completely healed?

The only answer I got from her, was that each day is better than the day before. 😊. I bet that’s a positive answer.

I remember when @bdesigns.ke asked if we could do a shoot with wedding gowns last year and I told her I wasn’t ready. I actually was not ready. I knew the kind of trigger that would be for me. Seeing myself in a wedding gown 😭

One year later, here we are🤗
Thank you @bdesigns.ke for being patient with me. We were able to pull it off and as I wore the gowns and posed for the photos, I was declaring what I wanted to see come to pass. At some point I was even speaking in tongues 🙈. Don’t know if the team noticed.

Healing is indeed gradual and I thank God for how far I have come. I really longed for a beautiful wedding and God granted me one. It didn’t last for long. 😭

But am here declaring that the next one will last. Somebody shout Amen with me💃.
