Cabinet Secretary for interior professor Kithure kindiki declared Friday, 21st April, 2023 a public holiday to mark the end of Ramadhan and mark Idd- ul – Fitr celebration according to Muslim believers.
During Ramadhan which is considered as the holy month, where by musilm believers take their time to pray to God while fasting accross the world.
During Idd-ul – Fitr celebration musilm usually go to mosque very early in the morning for prayer session. They then celebrate late in the while wearing new clothes and enjoy all type of food as they donates to the poor and opharns.
To the Respect of Muslim Cs kithure kindiki mark the day a public holiday as he quote from the constitution through a Gazette issued on Wednesday.
” In exercise of power conffered by by section 2 (1) of the public holiday act, I declared Friday, 21st April, 2013, shall be a public holiday to mark Idd-ul -Fitr,” Cs kithure kithiki said.
